This design evolved from the rugged surface of our studio’s much used cutting board (the same board that inspired our Giacometti pattern). To develop Tosca, we drew our inspiration from the sections of the board along the edge, where the cut marks were more vertical in alignment.

By combining our final artwork with an elegant warp-lay emboss, the pattern took on the tactile quality of a Renaissance textile. Tosca is offered in an extended range of sumptuous colors, and it coordinates with Tosca Grille and Tosca Grande.
