Barcelona is a city with a rich and exotic history. After being colonized by Rome in the 3rd Century B.C., it was conquered by the Visigoths in the early 5th Century, the Moors in the early 8th Century and then annexed by the French Empire of Napoleon in the 18th Century (just to name a few).

The Moorish influences on the architecture, art and culture of modern day Barcelona is still very apparent. The Moors, who hailed from the North African region west of modern Tunisia, brought with them a love of complex ornamentation and metalwork. This colorful legacy was our inspiration for Barcelona Damask.

All of the colors of Barcelona Damask coordinate with Barcelona texture.
