Inspiration, "My inspiration was the intricate and delicate forms of the human fingerprint. My goal for this design was to create a pattern that will appear to be solid from far away, but reveal itself as a detailed line pattern up close. I began with the lines of a fingerprint, then elaborated and edited it to make a design that can be functional as a wallcovering. I chose natural colors which will fit in a hospitality setting, perhaps the halls of a hotel, or a lobby. I think that the warm tones make for a pleasing atmosphere for such a setting. I enjoy drawing inspiration from natural forms, and I feel that this wallcovering is an appropriate example of myself as a designer."
