Inspiration, "The inspiration for this wallcovering design came from a photograph taken while walking home from the studio. I came across a bush with vibrant shades of green and purple that immediately captured my attention. The variety of color and pattern in the leaves gave me the starting point for a unique and natural design. A wallcovering with a soothing and organic feel for a corporate setting was the desired effect of this design. It was achieved by manipulating a piece of the image in Photoshop and stretching and distorting the leaves of the bush. Retaining the natural look of the leaves was important to the design to achieve a natural and organic feel. The natural characteristics of the leaves are still evident, but not obvious at first glance. I chose soft and soothing color options so the design would not be overwhelming in a corporate setting. Light, subtle colors evoke a more professional and calming feel. This wallcovering design developed into a versatile wallcovering that can be used to evoke a professional feel in any space."
