In my search for form and texture, I only had to look as far as my favorite lampshade. An underside view of its lovely tulip shape revealed intricate layers played on by metallic reflection and shadow. The perspective of the image was an important reminder of overall perspective when integrating traditional aesthetic into modern environments. In turn, my wallcovering joins the two styles, subtly revealing itself as a modern abstract
within a classic palette.
